United States Coast Guard Band Concert Series

The Concert series continues with a tribute to the newest members of the Submarine Family - Navy ROTC and the Silver Dolphins. The United States Coast Guard Band will continue honoring the 100th anniversary milestone with appropriate music, including Anchors Aweigh. Bring a beach chair or a blanket and join us on the lawn of the Branford House for a beautiful evening of music. The free concert begins at 7:00. Rain date - July 7.

StoryWalk® encourages both family literacy and physical activity by posting pages from a children’s picture book along a path or walking trail. Join us in making a pinewood derby car to race at Poquonnock Plains Park. The event is being held as part of Groton's celebration of Connecticut's Submarine Century, so participants are encouraged to build and decorate cars with a "submarine" theme!
